Finally we have mud free access to the house. With all the trenching over with, now the storm water is in and buried, we had some 'churt' (gravel road base) delivered and spread, forming solid foundations for our driveway.
Made an executive decision to save some money (approx $1000) by making a small change to our kitchen design. No longer having overhead cupboards above the fridge. Just boxing/plastering in the void. Hardly ever used those cupboards in all our previous houses anyhow, given they are pretty high up, needing a step to reach.
